We manage significant car collections for their owners.
That can mean taking responsibility for the entire collection, or working with the trusted people already around it and making sure the whole thing is managed properly as one.
The purpose is simple. The cars remain looked after, understood and ready, while the owner is not left carrying the whole picture alone.

Death changes the financial position of the collection.
A qualifying private car can often be sold during the owner's lifetime without Capital Gains Tax on the gain. If the owner dies still holding it, its market value may form part of the estate for Inheritance Tax purposes.
For a significant collection, that exposure can be substantial. The family may inherit valuable cars at exactly the point they also inherit the responsibility for funding the estate.
That is why the value of the collection, the owner's intentions and the position of each car need to be understood before death forces the issue.

Independent by design.
We do not trade cars or hold stock. We take no payment from counterparties, and no view that is not the owner's. Our oversight is worth having precisely because it answers to one side of the table.
That independence is the quiet constant beneath every chapter of the story - through ownership, change and succession.
A first conversation is a look at the collection, what is already understood and where more clarity would help. Nothing to prepare.
