A significant car can accumulate decades of history before it reaches its present owner. Some of that history is well documented. Some survives through photographs, correspondence and the knowledge of people who were there. Some is simply repeated often enough to become accepted as fact.
We establish what the evidence actually supports.
Where the earlier history is incomplete, we investigate the gaps and conflicting claims rather than smoothing over them.

They are connected, but they are not the same thing.
The documented history of the car should stand on evidence. Alongside it sits the owner’s own story, which may explain why the car was chosen, what happened during its ownership and why it matters to the family.
We preserve both while keeping the distinction between established history and personal recollection clear and we present this in amazing coffee table books, for you to keep, or add as provenance in the event of a sale.

As standard practice, we ensure provenance grows as a digital record for every car we oversee in a collection - this record is safe and secure, contained within our own proprietary technology.
When appropriate the digital record can, and possibly should, become a physical coffee table book capturing the memories and history of a car within family ownership.
